Tuition and Fees
We at GDS (Griffith Dance Studio) strive to give students of the Far Northeast and surrounding areas a substantial enrichment dance program. We strive to be a creative, timely and an organized program of high standard. We acknowledge that to be early is to be on time.
Studio Policies
Tuition is to be paid monthly via check, cash or credit card (plus processing fee). Receipts will be provided for each transaction when requested. Family rates are available for families with 2 or more children in the program. Scholarships will be provided at the beginning of each year (September).
A non-refundable one time registration fee of $10.00 is due at the time of registration. A late fee of $15 will be assessed for every late payment received 5 days past the original due date. A $25 fee will be assessed for all returned checks. Multiple late payments will cause the student(s) spot to be forfeited.
Each class will require certain attire to attend each class. Dance tights, dance shoes, pants and /or leotard are required for each class.
Dance tights should be flesh tone color, powder pink or white. Tights should be thick, non sheer. Leotards can be any color preferably black or pink. Shoes vary per class.
Target, Payless (Aurora Mall), Kmart and Walmart have these items. I also like www.allaboutdance.com, they have free shipping and a large selection of clothes and shoes.
Please check the program list to find out which shoes are required for each class.
In the event that a Make-up Class is needed the new rehearsal time may vary upon availability. When classes are missed due to snow days, school closing or instructer illnesses, they may be made up in the same week. Please check the website as well as your email for up to date notifications.
It is our goal to have make-ups made within the same week possibly on Saturdays. No refunds granted.
Safety first parents! Parents please do not drop your children off more than 15 minutes prior to the class and please pick them up as soon as their class is done. If your child is under the age of 12 please bring them all the way in to the studio.
When dropping your student off for lessons, please sign them in. The guardian should sign in and sign out. Students left for more than 15 minutes after class will be subject to a fine.
